Community Development

SUSTAINABILITY DEVELOPMENT GOALS

Sustainable development has become a critical consideration in defining corporate responsibilities.

Tetley, as a business, as a group, has set the bar high in providing quality lives to our tea growing communities. We take great pride in being an ethically, socially and an environmentally conscious business group. A brighter future for the generations to come, a future where their basic, economic and social needs are all fulfilled is what we envision. By 2030 we aim to achieve the global goals for sustainability by aligning with the United Nations.

Sustainable Development Goals

The seventeen Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs) came into force on the 1st of January 2016. Built on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), the SDGs aim to ensure no one is left behind. They put forth measures that help in tackling climate change, fight inequalities, and end poverty. The 2030 agenda for Sustainable Development with the SDGs help businesses align the global sustainability targets.
